As soon as the fishing boats return to harbor in the South, the locals want to taste the sweetness of the fresh fish. Kaeng Lueng, a typical southern dis, is a very delicious non-coconut curry supplemented with fresh fish and enhanced with the flavour of bamboo shoot.

Recipe: Kaeng Lueng
1. Prepare 250 gram fish fillet.
2. Mix the contents of this packet with 3 cups (720ml) water. Bring to boil.
3. Add bamboo shoot, pineapple or papaya. Cook until tender.
4. Add fish fillet. Bring to a boil.
5. Add fish sauce and lime juice to taste. Serve with cooked rice.
